Topic: Tax Cut & Jobs Act

The Tax Cut & Jobs ACT (TCJA) is the largest tax reform since 1986.  For many practitioners, it’s a massive change and they haven’t fully grasped how the changes will impact them and their clients.  And, to be fair, some of the details are still pending IRS guidance.  Financial planners who have kept up with the changes are likely to understand the basic changes to the standard deduction, state & property taxes, etc.  However, gaining a fuller understanding of the impacts to businesses-and your business owner clients-is more challenging.  We will address who the winners and losers are with the new bill; both the more basic changes as well as the more complicated areas around the pass through deduction.

  • Free – Austin FPA Members and 2018 Sponsors, but you must make a reservation for the lunch meeting.
  • $60 – Non-Members
  • Those who show up without a reservation will be placed on a wait list at the door and seated as space becomes available.
