Dear Pro Bono/Public Relations Volunteers,

Thank you for volunteering your valuable time to our chapter’s Pro Bono/Public Relations efforts.  We welcome all members who wish to serve on the Pro Bono/Public Relations Committee, who wish to volunteer at our events, or any member who simply wants to voice their opinions or suggestions. No matter how you wish to participate, you will be joined by an engaging and motivated group of fellow financial planning professionals who share a desire to give back to our community.

An important part of our chapter’s Pro Bono effort is to find the most effective ways for our members to help those who are underserved in our community.  By partnering with the appropriate community based organizations we can efficiently reach out to those who can’t afford professional financial planning advice.   The challenge is to identify the right community based organizations.

Just as our chapter has experience with various charities and non-profit organizations, so do our individual members.  If you have a relationship with a charity or a non-profit, please share your experiences with us. They may be a good fit for the rest of our chapter to get involved with.

Serving as our chapter’s Director of Pro Bono and Public Relations is an honor and a privilege.
