About Our Chapter

Our Vision

FPA of Middle Tennessee is recognized as the organization which encourages the highest ideals for financial professionals. We educate, inform and serve our members, and through them, the public. We do this with passion born of hearts that require and accept only the best efforts from members.

The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) is a leadership and advocacy organization for those who provide, support and benefit from financial planning. We take it upon ourselves to cultivate the body of knowledge for financial planning, share best practices among our members and facilitate professional development. Fostering the value of financial planning and advancing the practice and profession of financial planning are two of our primary long-term goals.

FPA of Middle Tennessee (FPA of Middle TN) is one of nearly 100 chapters nationwide that forms the backbone of our association and attracts the best in the financial planning community. As a member of an FPA chapter, you’ll connect with colleagues, share ideas and walk away with techniques you can implement in your own business.

Our Core Values: Competence, Integrity, Relationships, Stewardship

One of our most recognized resources is PlannerSearch, a unique tool that allows the public to find a financial planner who will deliver advice using an ethical, objective, client-centered process. Visit PlannerSearch.org

FPA Working for You
We believe it is in the public’s best interest to understand what services they are receiving from a financial planner, what results are being achieved and how a planner is compensated. FPA advocates for complete transparency, clearly understood information and high standards of conduct for anyone offering financial planning.
