Ready to Retire Pension is a one-hour presentation for OPERS members in the Traditional Pension Plan who are within five years of retirement eligibility (Groups A and B). Members learn about important changes to Ohio retirement law, the retirement application process and the tools and resources available to assist them with their retirement decisions.
The STRS presentation will cover the 3 retirement plans STRS Ohio offers which are the Defined Benefit Plan, the Defined Contribution Plan and the Combined Plan. The features of each plan will be discussed including items like retirement eligibility, benefit formulas and payment options.
