Pro Bono Opportunities

The FPA of Southwestern Ohio offers it members many pre-organized charitable opportunities to serve the public. Here is a few that we have planned for the year that are easy to implement, but can give you great satisfaction and media/marketing benefits to your firm.

Throughout the year, we will pass onto our members announcements from local community service organizations and other professional societies that are offering community service opportunities of interest. Contact admin@fpacinti.org

FPA of Southwestern Ohio promotes these opportunities for Members to provide community outreach.

The following Community Service Opportunities provide members the opportunity to share their talents and time with the greater Cincinnati and Dayton communities. The FPA encourages members to seek out the facilitators for these activities for both yourself and your staff. These are another way that our Chapter and its Members make a difference in the Miami Valley.

United Way looking for help with the Free Tax Assistance Program:

The United way has been a community partner to the Greater Cincinnati for many of our Pro Bono projects. Therefore, we are sharing with our members this volunteer request from the United Way in support of the VITA Program that the organization does as a partner with the IRS.

Through the National Academy Foundation (www.naf.org), the Academy of Finance prepares students for post-secondary education and career opportunities in the financial services industry. Become a mentor or provide internships to these future CFP® candidates!

These organizations welcome the opportunity to talk about how our chapter can help.
